Goa ISL Team Logo and Name Revealed

The Goa ISL team competing in this year’s inaugural season has been officially named FC Goa.

The Goal ISL team logo features an Indian gaur – the state animal of Goa – in purple and orange colours, with horns encompassing the FC Goa team name.

The FC Goa jersey will reportedly feature an all-blue shirt with white trim, although this is yet to be confirmed.

FC Goa is yet to announce a marquee or head-coach, although club sources report this will be revealed in coming weeks.

The team reveal was accompanied by another first for the upcoming Indian Super League – the announcement of a dedicated satellite TV channel named FC Goa TV.  The channel, to be telecast on Videocon D2H, will feature exclusive FC Goa programs, similar to that offered by many English Premier League clubs.

With the season kicking-off in mid-October the announcement leaves Team Chennai as the final team without an official name to date. Kerala Blasters, Mumbai City FC and Team Chennai meanwhile still haven’t released a team logo.
