FC Goa To Face ISL Regulation Breach Allegations
|2015 Indian Super League runners-up FC Goa have been called upon to face the ISL regulatory commission, following allegations of breaching league regulations and bringing the game into disrepute.
The side, which lost 3-2 to Chennaiyin FC in the 2015 ISL final, made allegations the match was fixed and boycotted the medal awarding ceremony.
According to reports, FC Goa have been charged by the AIFF’s Disciplinary Committee for boycotting the match and league ceremony, publicly criticising and threatening match officials, making allegations of match fixing and failing to adhere to league rules.
It remains unclear what punishment FC Goa can expect to receive if found guilty of these allegations.
