Del Piero to make an ISL appearance?

Rumours that World-Cup winner Alessandro Del Piero is set to make an appearance in the inaugural Indian Super League appear to be gaining traction, the Italian currently without a club after departing Australian-side Sydney FC.

Should Del Piero join the 2014 ISL season he’ll find himself in good company, alongside the likes of Luis Garcia, Robert Pires and former Juventus teammate David Trezeguet.

With a decorated career at Juventus spanning nearly two decades, the 39 year old recently found reinvigorated stardom in the Australian A-League, playing a sparkling marquee role with Sydney FC.
