Australian striker Andrew Barisic has signed with Kerala Blasters for the upcoming Indian Super League season.
Barisic, 28, scored 35 goals in 69 appearances during several stints with Australian lower-division side Melbourne Knights, before moves to Germany, Indonesia, and most recently Hong Kong. The 6 foot 2 striker will be familiar with Indian football, with a short 2013 spell at I-League side East Bengal F.C.
Barisic will be seeking to make manager David James’ striker selection tough at Kerala Blasters, the club already having signed the likes of Iain Hume and Indian crowd-favourite Michael Chopra
