Atlético de Kolkata Travel to Spain for Preseason Training

Atlético de Kolkata has revealed players and coaching staff will travel in late August for preseason training at Atlético Madrid’s facilities in Segovia, Spain.

The Kolkata-based squad will spend a month training at the Los Angeles de San Rafael training ground in El Espinar, Segovia.

Atlético de Kolkata manager Antonio López Habas says the training in Spain will “introduce players to the La Liga methodology and Atlético Madrid philosophy”, forming the clubs approach for the upcoming ISL season.

Having signed UEFA Champions League Luis Garcia and a host other international players, Atlético de Kolkata are looking tactically dangerous in the upcoming Indian Super League, and will certainly be worth keeping an eye on.
